The “first choice” in providing alternative and innovative access to capital for local, small and minority businesses.
Any business that donates to FSC First can earn tax credits equal to 50 percent of the value of the money, goods or real property contribution. These credits are in addition to deduction on both Federal and State taxes as a result of the charitable contribution. These tax credits must be used against taxes owed for the year in which the contribution was made and therefore, should be filed on your 2011 tax returns. The minimum contribution to qualify for the credit is $500.00 and the deductible contribution is net of the value of goods and services received.
